Proxy Pool
Proxy Pool is a collection of proxy servers combined into a single system for distributed use.
How Pool Works
┌─→ Proxy 1
Your request ─┼─→ Proxy 2 ─→ Internet
├─→ Proxy 3
└─→ ...
The system automatically:
- Selects optimal proxy
- Balances load
- Replaces non-working addresses
Pool Characteristics
Size
- Small: 100-1000 IPs — for small tasks
- Medium: 1000-10000 IPs — for regular parsing
- Large: 10000+ IPs — for enterprise tasks
IP Type
- Datacenter — cheaper, faster, easier to detect
- Residential — more expensive, slower, look like real users
- Mobile — most expensive, best trust score
Refresh Rate
- Static — IPs don't change
- Dynamic — new IPs added constantly
Pool Benefits
- Scalability — use as many IPs as needed
- Fault tolerance — system works even when some proxies fail
- Simplicity — no need to manage individual proxies
- Cost efficiency — pay for usage, not per IP
Pool Quality Metrics
- Uptime — percentage of working proxies
- Response time — response speed
- Success rate — share of successful requests
- Geo coverage — geographic coverage
