Setting Up Proxies in GoLogin Anti-Detect Browser
GoLogin and Proxies
GoLogin is an anti-detect browser designed for managing multiple browser profiles with unique fingerprints. Each profile mimics a separate user: a unique fingerprint, cookies, timezone, and most importantly, a unique IP via a proxy.
Proxies are an essential component for working with GoLogin. Without proxies, all profiles will use the same IP, which will immediately expose multi-accounting.
Adding Proxies to a Profile
When Creating a Profile
- Open GoLogin
- Click "Create Profile" (or "New Profile")
- In the "Proxy" section, click "Edit Proxy"
- Select the connection type:
- HTTP
- HTTPS
- SOCKS4
- SOCKS5 - Enter the details:
- Host (Proxy IP address)
- Port
- Login (if applicable)
- Password (if applicable) - Click "Check Proxy" to verify
- Save the profile
To an Existing Profile
- In the profile list, find the desired one
- Click the edit icon (pencil)
- Go to the "Proxy" section
- Modify the proxy details
- Save
Bulk Proxy Import
Paste Proxy
GoLogin allows you to paste proxies in text format:
- In the proxy settings, click "Paste Proxy"
- Paste proxies in one of the following formats:
- ip:port
- ip:port:username:password
- username:password@ip:port
- type://ip:port:username:password - GoLogin will automatically recognize the format
Bulk Assignment
To assign different proxies to multiple profiles:
1. Select multiple profiles (Ctrl+Click)
2. Click "Actions" → "Assign Proxies"
3. Paste the list of proxies (one per line)
4. GoLogin will assign a unique proxy to each profile
Import from File
- Prepare a CSV file with proxies
- GoLogin → Settings → Import
- Upload the file
- Map the columns (ip, port, username, password, type)
Proxy Check
Built-in Check
GoLogin has a built-in proxy checker:
1. When adding a proxy, click "Check Proxy"
2. GoLogin will check:
- Proxy availability
- Connection speed (ping)
- Real IP address
- Geolocation (country, city)
3. The result is displayed in the interface
Bulk Check
- In the "Proxies" section, select all proxies
- Click "Check All"
- Non-working proxies will be marked in red
Proxy Types for GoLogin
Residential Proxies (Recommended)
The best choice for multi-accounting:
- High website trust
- IPs from real ISPs
- Accurate geolocation
For each profile, use a sticky residential IP from the same city.
Mobile Proxies
Ideal for working with social networks (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok):
- Maximum trust
- Natural IP rotation
- CGNAT protects against bans
ISP/Static Residential
For long-term accounts:
- Fixed IP
- ISP-level trust
- Datacenter stability
Datacenter Proxies
Suitable for less protected websites:
- Low price
- High speed
- May be blocked by social networks
Timezone and Geo Settings
GoLogin automatically adjusts the timezone and language to the proxy's geolocation:
- When adding a proxy, GoLogin determines the geo by IP
- The profile's timezone is set according to the geo
- Language and locale are also adjusted
For manual settings:
1. In profile settings → Advanced
2. Timezone: select from the list or leave "Auto"
3. Language: specify the language of the proxy region
4. WebRTC: GoLogin substitutes the proxy IP into WebRTC
Integration with Proxy Providers
GoLogin has built-in integration with popular providers:
- In the Proxy section, click "Buy Proxy"
- Select a provider from the list
- GoLogin will redirect you to the purchase page
- After purchase, proxies will be added automatically
Best Practices
1. One Proxy — One Profile
Never use one proxy for multiple profiles (exception: mobile proxies with CGNAT).
2. Geo-Matching
The proxy IP should match the profile settings: timezone, language, locale.
3. Check Fingerprint
After setup, launch the profile and check:
- IP (via a checking service)
- WebRTC (should not leak your real IP)
- DNS (should match the proxy region)
- Timezone (should match the geo)
4. Rotation for Parsing
If you use GoLogin for parsing, set up rotating proxies instead of static ones.
5. Backup Proxies
Have backup proxies to replace banned ones. GoLogin allows you to quickly change proxies without losing the profile.
6. Monitoring
Regularly check proxy functionality using the built-in checker.
Troubleshooting
"Proxy connection failed"
- Check the correctness of the data (IP, port, login, password)
- Ensure the proxy type is specified correctly (HTTP vs SOCKS5)
- Check if the proxy has expired
Website Sees Real IP
- Check WebRTC settings in the profile — it should be "Altered"
- Make sure DNS is not leaking
- Verify that the proxy is actually working (Check Proxy)
Slow Performance
- Check the ping to the proxy
- Use proxies closer to the target website
- Datacenter proxies are faster than residential
Conclusion
Correct proxy setup in GoLogin is the foundation of successful multi-accounting. Use residential or mobile proxies for social networks, ensure geo-settings match, and always check the fingerprint after setup. GoLogin makes proxy management as convenient as possible through its built-in checking and bulk import tools.
